What’s the process?
We arrange a short introductory chat, after which a simple questionnaire is sent by email - nothing too lengthy or arduous – enabling you to provide background information and a brief outline of the story you want to share. Your story may be related to a photograph, an object or the memory of an event or time period in your life. This information allows your biographer to think about the right questions to ask in your interview. Together, we figure out which package is right for you, or if a custom package is a more suitable option.
During the interview sessions your biographer will offer gentle prompts where necessary and listen with a sensitive ear while guiding you through your story before transforming it into print, using your own words.
What happens next?
Your biographer listens to the recording and uses her expertise to produce a flowing first person narrative, your very own story, reflecting your personality, using your words. You will be sent a draft of your story, so you can make small amendments if required. Once finalised, we send you a printed paper copy in a presentation folder as well as a PDF version. Further copies can be ordered if required, for an extra charge.
